CARAMEL AND CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES| SOFT AND CAKELIKE COOKIES

Are you craving some chocolate chip cookies? Take them to a new level with some caramel sauce.
1 stick unsalted butter (100g = 1/2 cup) melted
1/2 granulated sugar
1/2 caramel sauce
1 large egg (room temperature)
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups all purpose flour (225g)
1tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup semi sweet chocolate chip (you can up to 2 cups for extra chocolate flavour)
This recipe makes 16 medium cookies that have a cake-like texture.
You can substitute the caramel sauce with 1/2 cup brown sugar (light of dark). The texture of the cookies will definitely change.
Make the cookies as much even to each other as possible so they cook all in the same time.
When baking, keep an eye on the edge of the cookies, whey they start to brown, it means they are ready even if the centre is still soft.
Let the cookies cool down a little bit before eating. They are so delicious warm with a good cup of coffee or tea.
