  1. So I only have one thing to say to ruin the whole Theory. " roasting bags " cuts the time down to a fraction of the time. Creates very moist flavorful meat plus you get a evenly crispy golden brown skin.

  2. nah I'm not going through the effort to cut out the backbone. Just take some butter, mix it with herbs and spices, rub it up underneath the skin, and then just cleaver use of tinfoil. yeah not going to spatchcock a turkey when there really isn't any compelling reason to do so. I can do more with a whole turkey, including throwing lemons and onions inside the cavity of the turkey to infuse flavors. cooking time isn't an issue either. dunno why you think its a massive time investment. You do not need to babysit a turkey in the oven. Set a couple timers to occasionally go and move it / check on it. rest of the time you are hanging out with family.

I mean if you enjoy spatchcocking then more power to you but this hardly was a scientific test. You can't conclude we are cooking our turkey wrong. The only way this would have been a scientific test is if you did a blind taste test with people who didn't know which turkey was which. You have biases mat even if you want to believe you don't or think you can suppress them.

so basically this entire video was just pointless and an excuse for you to eat multiple turkeys. Try a blind taste test of the two birds and choose which one you like more WITHOUT knowing which one you ate. 4/10
