'UNRECOGNISABLE' Liverpool XI vs. Leicester: Are the Reds still favourites? | ESPN FC

ESPN FC’s Don Hutchison and Shaka Hislop share their thoughts on Liverpool’s projected XI vs. Leicester this weekend and find it difficult to call them favourites. Hutchison says Jamie Vardy and Leicester will be “a real test” for this version of Liverpool. Hislop adds that Jurgen Klopp has done a good job when facing adversity so far this season, but this time around the challenge could prove too big without so many stars.

  1. Brendan is a top manager. As a Liverpool fan I’m happy to see him winning the hearts of the Leicester fans. Whatever the result is I will be happy and move on to the next fixture. This is a marathon. Can’t get too caught up into 1 game. I understand every game is as important as the next. But this season I feel like everyone is losing their minds over 1 game

  2. Tbh, kind of hoping Jones does get a run out. I know he's not such a refined player but he's got bags of potential and it's normally hard for him to get game time with the quality that Liverpool have in midfield.

  3. Shaka always has a negative comment about Liverpool but have they forgotten we are a world-class team? They have Vardy to depend on, we have Mane, Firmino and Jota to snipe them. When Liverpool's back is against the wall, they outclassed the opposition. Hey, has anyone forgotten about the 4-0 whipping of Leicester away from home? We are wounded but not down. Come on ye Reds
